The introduction of the Fulvia saloon in 1963 maintained Lancias reputation for innovation in car design. Designed by Antonio Fessia, this boxy-styled Appia replacement featured an all new, narrow angle V4 overhead- camshaft engine, front wheel drive, independent front suspension by double wishbones and Disc brakes all round. The 2+2 coupe shorter wheelbase was launched in 1965.
This Lancia we have here is possibly the most original example for sale in Europe at this moment. Examples like this are often hidden in collections seldom seen or languishing in a Museum. This rare original right-hand drive version has only covered 10,000 miles from new. The car is dressed in its original” Dublino Verde “paintwork, which is absolutely as it left the factory.
This original Lancia Fulvia coupe 1.3s UK car started life being sold by Cooden Motors the Lancia dealer near Bexhill in East Sussex. To a Mr R Shrew from Kent who had it until 1984 having seldom use it was then sold to a Mr J Harvey of Canterbury through Lancia dealers Harnet Motors of Sandwich (all of the Mots are available from this time confirming the low mileage from 1983 at 7667 to 1989 at 9460). Posthumously it was then purchased from Mr Harvey’s widow to its recent owner Mr A Glibbery who has had it for 31 years. In the last decades, it has spent its life in a temperature controlled garage in Monaco, and subsequently with his collection at his second home in South West France.
The Lancia comes with;
Original Lancia England warranty certificate dated 1/10/76
Original Italian/ European type approval certificate dated 5/4/76
Original Instruction book and dealer network booklet
Original dealer hand over folder.
Original old type log book. ( New v5 will be given on purchase.)
Original two sets of Keys.
Original sales brochure
Original Cromadora alloys with the original Pirelli Cinturato cn 54 Tyres (slight cracking due to age of the tyres.)
Original tool kit

The condition as you can see from the video and photographs is exceptional throughout the interior seating has not splits or stitching issues. The dash panel is still as new no cracks which are common. The head lining does not sag. We have changed the number plates to the period Italian look as the old plastic ones had faded.The car is a matching numbers car and the mechanical side is superb, engine runs superbly and smooth through the gears. Sitting on a set of steel wheels with new tyres at the moment, the alloys can be put on with new tyres if preferred.
This car is close to concourse and would be a great addition to an Italian car collection or a fun classic show winner. This car needs to be seen!
