This is one of the most landmark cars of the1980”s. Today with just over 25,000 miles, this example of Ferraris iconic supercar is in very good order. The exterior Rosso paint is in outstanding condition and the Crema interior shows extremely well with very little signs of wear. The five-spoke star alloy wheels are unmarked and all tyres are good. With regard to the mechanics the Testarossa”s 390 horsepower 4.9 litre flat 12 cylinder engine drives beautifully with instant power through all the gears. To drive this car is an absolute privilege and to hear the magnificent sound of the 12 cylinders roaring through the gears, is something I and the film crew will not forget in a hurry. It handled the twisty lanes around our factory impeccably and the A27 main road, well you can imagine! I can understand why Testarossas left the factory without the Stereo, who needs one. Also the cockpit is very roomy for a Ferrari as I am 6”2 and found it comfortable.
The car was sold new by Maranello of Surrey an official Ferrari Dealer on the 9th April 1991.This car is an original right-hand drive car. The car has been subsequently serviced by Ferrari Dealers and well known Ferrari specialists being serviced at 2293miles in 1992, 3606 miles in 1993 and cam belts, 4700 miles in 1994, cambelts 5558 in 1996, 7426 miles in 1997, 13510 miles and cambelts in 2002, 19402 miles and cam belts in 2006, and 23241 miles and cam belts. The car has been sold by Graypaul official Ferrari Dealers on two occasions also. The car has formed part of a large collection of classic cars mainly Ferraris and the gentleman has decided that the time has come to start to thin his collection down, as getting in and out of them is becoming more of a problem. The Testarossa Ferrari from a design point of view was very different to the previous cars, the side intakes made it one of the widest cars Ferrari had ever produced which draws your eye along the lines of the car making the car look fast while standing still. It has a top speed of 180 mph and will get you from 0- 60 in under 6 seconds. This car could be shown at any Ferrari meeting, added to a collection or could be enjoyed for weekends as the boot space is quite large due to the repositioning of the radiators in this model. These Ferraris are viewed now as investment pieces, granted it is no 250 GTO but experts around the world agree that the Testarossa may be the next Ferrari to make a massive leap forward in appreciation. Therefore if you had the obligatory Testarossa poster on your wall or played Top Trumps and have always loved the Ferrari from an early age it might be the time to own one!
